FreeDAM can create several types of invoice.
These are
- A Full Funeral Service Fee Invoice
- A Partial Funeral Service Fee Invoice
- A Sundry Invoice
- A Monumental Invoice
- A Credit note (Negative Invoice)
A Full Funeral Service Fee Invoice
This is used most often for funeral cases.
FreeDAM will automatically set this option for all first time invoices that are of case type ‘Funeral Cases’
When entering the invoice data FreeDAM will use the Full Service Fee pricing.
Even if this option is chosen all pricing can be overridden.
A Partial Funeral Service Fee
This can be selected for funeral cases when appropriate
When entering the invoice data FreeDAM will use the Partial Service Fee pricing.
Even if this option is chosen all pricing can be overridden.
There is no other difference between a Partial and a Full Funeral Service fee invoice.
This option is designed to enable you to easily change your pricing based on families only using part of our services. e.g A family takes their loved one home themselves and do not require a venue, celebrant etc.
A Sundry Invoice
This is for sundry debtors (Cases entered on the front screen that are of a case type ‘Sundry Debtor’)
This type of invoice does not use any funeral data or pricing however you are able to set up default pricing and descriptions for commonly used items. (Preferences – Pricing – Inv Text:Sundry)
A Sundry invoice can also be used for an additional invoice to a family that have already been sent a funeral invoice. e.g. The family want to purchase an additional ashes urn.
A sundry invoice can be used for invoicing a company – (Cases entered on the front screen that are of a case type ‘Company’) e.g. We invoice another funeral home for a removal carried out for them.
A Monumental Invoice
This is for Monumental work
Cases entered on the front screen that are of a case type ‘Monumental’ will have a monumental invoice set by default.
This type of invoice can use data from the front screen to help you with your invoice construction. This information would typically be the cemetery name, the name of the deceased (for which you are doing the monument for) and the birth and death dates.
A funeral case can have a funeral invoice and a monumental invoice some time later once the family have decided what to put on the grave.
A Credit Note
When the credit note option is set the invoice is changed to a negative value.
This allows credits to be given and charges to be reversed or reduced.
