The Header text is usually a brief synopsis of the invoice.
FreeDAM will populate the header text specific to the funeral case automatically with the company’s preferred settings.
To edit the header text click ‘Edit’ at the top right of the screen.
The Yellow box at the top contains the header text.
This text can be edited and changed if circumstances require and behaves like a normal word document.
If you wish to replace the yellow text and reload your company’s default header text. Click the ‘Set Default Header’ button.
Text can be take on styles and justification and can be highlighted with colour by using the standard icons above the box.
The grey lists at the bottom of the screen are to assist you with spellings and case details when entering text.
A double click on a line in the grey list will insert that detail into the yellow text box at the place of the cursor.
This allows you to use the deceased’s details to personalise the header without having to look up their data again somewhere else.
Note that there are grey tabs for the deceased’s name, general, dates and age and address details.
The additional dates, Accounting Details and Company details may not be required on the invoice header but as these grey helper lists appear elsewhere in the software we wanted them to have the same overall appearance for clarity.
To see the header as it would appear on the invoice click on the ‘Invoice Preview’ tab at top of the screen.
